Canada’s “The Globe and Mail” reports of an upcoming Apple iTV. The report says telcos Rogers and Bell are already testing the 42-inch device in their labs.

The report confirms that Apple’s features will include voice control via Siri, gesture recognition via a front-facing camera, an on-screen keyboard allowing users surf the web, access social networks and video chat services.

Also, over the weekend, Best Buy issued a consumer survey asking if consumers will be interested in a 42-inch “Apple HDTV” for $1,499. Best Buy’s survey confirms access to the App Store and iTunes Store as well as iCloud integration. Best Buy has replied to contemplations by issuing a statement saying the survey was hypothetical.
