Having been hit with a lot of questions on Twitter regarding the best tablet to buy, I understand first hand the confusion many people have. With the iPad dominating the market, it’s no surprise that many users are shying away from it and considering other devices. Couple this with the fact that most companies are going at the iPad where it hurts the most; Price points, it’s no wonder people are getting more perplexed with the myriad of choices out there. Samsung Jabs iPhones Again [VIDEO]

The first anti-iPhone ad from Samsung was pretty funny. Samsung has now taken it a step further saying “The Next Best Thing Has The Best Apps”. The ad shows an iPhone user and a Galaxy S II user comparing apps on an iPhone queue. The Galaxy S II user says “Except I got to try them on before I bought it”. Then he jokes about the line moving. Pretty cool ad. What are your thoughts? Is Android Market better than Apple’s App Store?Read More

Helios Acquires Multilinks

ThisdayLive reports that Helios Investment Partners (HIP) has announced the formal acquisition of 100% stake in Multilinks from Telkom South Africa. HIP is one of Africa’s largest private investment firms with assets of over $1.9 billion. This comes after months of legal tussle over an attempted breach of contract for the construction of a Base Transceiver Station for Multilinks. There’s no concrete figure of how much Multilinks cost but we assume HIP’s acquisition of Multilinks will position the firm to deliver better services. Maybe we’ll even get real broadband. MultilinksRead More
