Google Nigeria has announced an extension of its Google Apps Supporting Programs (GASP) to the University of Ibadan. The GASP initiative is to help increase usage of the internet and Google Apps in Sub-Saharan universities. The update lets users translate text in images by tapping the camera icon within the app. All you’ve got to do is tap the icon, take the picture and highlight the text you wish to translate.
