After months of rumors, Samsung’s Galaxy S Advance has been found in the Philipines. The smartphone is also called the GT-i9070. The Galaxy S Advance is slightly curved and sports a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 400 pixels. Reports have emerged that Google has fired its Kenyan country manager over Google’s theft of Mocality’s database. Nairobitech says Olga Arara-Kimani, a former Safaricom employee has been let off. They also say a technical person in Zurich has been fired. The Nigerian House of Representatives has summoned the Director General of the National Sports Commission over the commission’s expenditures which includes N1.2 Million for a Facebook page. Chief Patrick Ekeji is being summoned by an investigative panel over allegations of misappropriation of funds. Today 125 years ago, the largest snowflake ever recorded was found in Fort Keogh, Montana, USA. The snowflake had a diameter of 38cm which is about 15 inches. Etisalat has launched UrFilez in Nigeria; a mobile music streaming service that allows you listen to and discover music. The service also allows you create and share stations like on Last.fm or you can listen to any of the artistes’ stations. UrFilez has over 4,000,000 songs in its library.
