Asus PadFone hides a Phone inside a Tablet [VIDEO and PICS]

Asus is placing a phone inside a dock at the back of its new tablet. Its called the ‘PadFone’. Asus says you can have the best of both worlds using the device as a Tablet or as a Mobile Phone.

We don’t have details of the configuration yet, but the pictures have leaked on Pocketnow.com and will be revealed at the Taiwan Computex today. What we’re sure of though, is that the device will run on Android. This makes a lot of sense for those of us with multiple gadgets. We don’t need an extra bag/pouch anymore and since there’s one unit that handles the tablet and the smart phone, you pay just one cellphone bill!

What do you think about this idea and the OS they’ve decided to run on? Leave us a comment below.
