RIM (Research In Motion Ltd.) will probably be facing a class action lawsuit brought on by consumers who were left frustrated by the BlackBerry maker’s service outage earlier this month. Early last week, BlackBerry users worldwide had problems accessing their internet service for three days due to server problems at RIM’s Europe, Middle East and Africa Data Centre. On Monday morning, BlackBerry users began experiencing problems with accessing BBM, Email and Internet-based apps. The disruption entered its 2nd day on Tuesday and is due to a server failure in RIM’s Data Centre in Slough, UK.
