Nokia and China Telecom have announced the first CDMA Windows Phone in China - the Lumia 800C. Nokia is certainly targeting China as the world’s biggest smartphone market.
The Nokia Lumia 800C is a 3.7-inch phone with an AMOLED touchscreen display. It’s powered by a 1.4GHz CPU with hardware acceleration. It also sports an 8 megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics and 16GB of internal storage. Additional storage is available via Microsoft SkyDrive. Since this phone is specifically for China, users will get 100,000 free downloads at the Windows Phone Marketplace including Fruit Nija, FHM and Esquire magazines. The Lumia 800C costs 3599 RMB without a contract.
