Amazon’s Silk Browser Ported To Rooted Android Devices

Developers on xda-developers forums have figured out a way to port Amazon‘s Silk browser(the browser for the Kindle Fire) unto different rooted Android devices. Note: Rooted Android Devices only. First, you’ll need to root your Android device, then download a package file and install it to the /system/lib directory with permissions set to the same as the other files in that folder. Next you download any of the available .apks but remember to move the .apk for Silk to from /data/app to /system/app. Reboot your device and you should have Amazon’s Silk installed and running. Head to xda-forums for step-by-step instructions.
