A photo purpoted to be that of an upcoming variant of Amazon’s Kindle Fire has leaked to The Verge. The image shows that Amazon might have a 10-inch Kindle Fire model in the works as BGR reported in June.
From the image we can see that there are no physical buttons on the device as is common with a lot of new Android smartphones and tablets. We can also see a front-facing camera and it’s been reported that the new Kindle Fires will have metal cases as opposed to the old plastic version. It’s also been reported that there’ll be a microUSB and an HDMI port.
This leak comes exactly a week to Amazon’s event on September 6th in Santa Monica, California. Follow us on Twitter where we’ll live-tweet the event.
