Amazon has pre-installed a lot of custom apps that work with the hardware. Mayday is a customer service app that lets you contact Amazon and have an Amazon staffer guide you through your issues and solve them. Even more impressive is Firefly(with its own custom button). Firefly uses your phones camera to capture information you see and gives you options on what actions to take. Firefly uses Amazon’s catalog of movies, music and books to identify text and images from books or movies.

The Fire Phone is available for pre-order between $199 and $749 and is only available on contract from AT&T. Shipping starts July 25. All users get 1 year free of Amazon Prime and free cloud storage of Amazon content and photos taken with the Fire Phone.
