Expect iPhone 5 in September[REPORT]

A Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty has reported after meeting unnamed individuals in Taiwan, that “Apple’s next iPhone will begin production in mid to late August and ramp aggressively.”. At WWDC 2011 earlier this month, Apple announced that the iOS 5 is planned for release in “Fall 2011″.

She also added that Apple has plans to launch lower-priced iPhones and Apple-branded TVs.

Apple usually releases new iPods at the end of September and in conjuction with a new feature on iTunes. This year Apple has announced iCloud and iMessage in connection with its launch of iOS 5.

If the iPhone 5 is released in September this puts Apple in competition with Android and Windows Phone handset makers, just before the holiday shopping season starts.
