Nigerian Couple Tell Their Love Story On Google+, Man Proposes In A Live Hangout[VIDEO]

The internet has clearly spurred its own style of wedding proposals. We’ve seen proposals at NBA games that were streamed live, proposals using internet memes and proposals via Facebook and Twitter updates. Finally Google+ has got its share of proposals as Lanre Aina asked for Tele Williams’ hand in marriage as he hungout with friends and family abroad on the platform.

Lanre even got singer Brymo to sing “Good Morning” to Ms. Williams as they both kept wiping tears off their faces. To follow their love story, add them to your circles on Google+.

On the decision to tell their story on Google+, the bride-to-be Tele Williams says

“We wanted to do something totally different. To give our family, friends and well-wishers the opportunity to be a part of our love story not just on the wedding day but through the planning period. As opposed to having a wedding website, we wanted to capture the wedding experience using social media.”

Below is the full video of the hangout plan. From Lanre’s office at Google Nigeria, to the special chat via Google+’s hangout feature and Brymo’s special performance.

Do you(yes, you oga) think you can beat this?
