As we reported earlier, online fashion store, Sabunta has launched. Offering a large collection of shoes, clothes and fashion accesories to the Nigerian online market. Sabunta is Rocket Internet’s second venture in Nigeria. The first Kasuwa – an Amazon-like website specialising in electronics, launched a few days ago.
Orders from Sabunta can be paid for via Electronic Funds Transfer and Cash on delivery. Delivery is currently being handled by Fedex. Debit and Credit cards are currently not supported. There’s also a N1000 voucher for new signups. Kasuwa on the other hand offers N1,500 vouchers for purchases above N6,000.
It’ll be great to see how far the purchasing options go as the website doesn’t accept online cards.
