Efiko, BudgIT, Receive N1Million Grant From Nigeria Internet Group

Efiko is on a roll. After winning CC-Hub’s Tech-In-Ed hackathon and raising additional $5000 funding from the Tony Elumelu Foundation, Efiko is one of the winners on the Nigerian Internet Group’s Internet For Jobs Initiative.

Earlier in the year, The Nigerian Internet group through its I4J initiative asked Nigerian internet entrepreneurs to submit internet solutions that solve social problems and have the potential to create jobs.  Winners were then chosen across the 5 categories of the competition.

Other winners include BudgIT[also from a CC-Hub hackathon] a website that makes it easier to understand government budgets via infographics, LearnThem allows students teach and learn together, TutorialClick –  a quiz website for UTME applicants  and Joggebuzz an SMS service.
