RIM Releases BlackBerry PlayBook Mini Keyboard [VIDEO]

Almost a year after the launch of RIM’s flagship tablet, BlackBerry PlayBook, the Waterloo Company has unveiled a mini keyboard for the device. The keyboard is basically a 6mm-thin keyboard for the PlayBook and costs $120.

Seems like RIM has a late habit of adding stuff to the PlayBook. The PlayBook was initially announced without a native email app and BBM which BlackBerry fans love. Thankfully, email came with the PlayBook OS 2.0. The keyboard connects to your PlayBook via Bluetooth and lasts 30 days when charged via USB.

The question is will you buy a $120 keyboard for a tablet that costs $200 for the 16GB version?

Here’s a video showing the mini Keyboard in use with the Citirx Receiver app.
