Sony Unveils The Xperia Ion[VIDEO]

Sony has unveiled its first LTE smartphone the Xperia Ion. The device will be available only on AT&T and runs Android 2.3 while sporting a 4.6- inch 720p display, a 12-megapixel Exmor R primary camera that’s said to go from standby to ready in 1.5 seconds and NFC capabilities. The device is packed in an aluminium casing which makes it “thin, lightweight, and durable” and the screen uses Sony’s Mobile Bravia Reality Display components which offers a laminated and gapless appearance. An Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade for the device is reportedly in works.
