Co-Creation Hub Releases Wayopedia: A Crowd-Sourced Repository Of Scam Vocabulary

Wayopedia is the result of last Saturday’s code party at Nigeria’s first tech hub, Co-Creation Hub. The idea for Wayopedia is to create intelligent scam email identification systems. To help this project succeed, all you have to do is copy and paste the subject and content of scam emails you’ve gotten. You can also forward emails to [email protected]

The repository (like a dictionary), currently has over 5,200 words and it’ll keep growing as you and others send in scam emails to the service. You can also share the page to your friends on social networks, so we can get the word out and increase the number of words in the repository.

When the repository has enough keywords and phrases, an intelligent system will be created so scam emails can easily be identified and filtered before they get into your email box. So please share this and leave your thoughts in the comments.
