Etisalat began the trend by launching a BlackBerry App Store last year, MTN said they’ll follow in December 2011 but they didn’t. Glo has taken the app store idea a step further by launching an App Store for Android, BlackBerry and Java supported devices.

The App Store  has an app which is available for download on BlackBerry and Android. Other users can browse the store via their mobile browsers. Like most App Stores, Globacom’s store allows you search and view apps in different categories. There’s also a forum on the site for users who have problems.
