Wikipedia Is Dark: Here Are 11 Alternatives

Wikipedia announced a few days ago that it’ll be going dark and blacking out to protest against SOPA/PIPA. Wikipedia has kept its word and the image below is what Wikipedia looks like right now.

So we’ve gone around the web to bring you 11 alternatives to Wikipedia

1. CIA World FactBook

Wikia is also community edited like Wikipedia itself but runs on smaller communities. Each post has its own mini-community where Users can edit entries and engage in discussions. Wikia is great for Movie, TV and Music fans.

Encyclopedia Britannica Online is the web version of Britannica, one of the world’s largest collection of knowledge in books.
