RIM Unveils BlackBerry Bold 9790 & Curve 9380

RIM has announced two BlackBerry OS 7 running phones – Bold 9790 & Curve 9380.

The Bold 9790 looks like the standard BlackBerry, with a physical QWERTY keyboard below the 2.44-inch, 360 X 480px resolution screen. It packs a 1GHz CPU, 5-Megapixel camera and 8GB of expandable storage.

The Curve 9380 looks like a Torch, replacing the physical keyboard with a 3.2-inch, 480 x 360px resolution touchscreen. The specs for the Curve 9380 haven’t been released yet but rumors say it’s an 800MHz processor powered device, with a 5-megapixel camera and 1GB of storage.

We saw a leak of the BlacBerry ‘London’ yesterday and RIM says the Curve 9380 and Bold 9790 will be available for purchase in the “coming weeks”. I have to say I’m not that impressed with the specs but the prices should be appropriate.
