Gmail Gets Redesigned: Preview + How To Get it
We saw the launch of Google+ a couple of days back and one thing that’s noted is it’s design. It doesn’t seem like Google actually designed this. Sure there’s a lot of white space but there’s this sleekness they’ve added to it.
The new theme for Gmail has the classic google white background and there’s a bit of grey at the top, A red ‘Compose Mail’ button, while the ‘Inbox’ and ‘Mail’ links are highlighted with the same red colour. The search mail bar is now within the top grey area in a blue button and the search the web button is right beside it. Here’s a screenshot of the new theme, how to get it is below the screenshot.
How to Get the new GMail theme:
Google didn’t restrict usage on this one[thank goodness]. Click the Gear icon at the top right of your Gmail page or the settings link at the same position. Then click ‘Themes’ at the far right below the settings tab. Scroll to the bottom and select ‘Preview’ or ‘Preview(Dense)’. Do you like the new changes to Gmail, let us know below
