Google Map Maker Gets Redesigned For 2012

Since the launch of Google+, we’ve seen Google translate the design into its major products. The redesign process started with Gmail, then Google Reader and now its on to Google Map Maker. Google Map Maker is as the name implies. It’s a Google product to edit maps on Google Maps. The internet giant has announced a new version of Map Maker to help users create and edit maps easily.

Google Map Maker is available in 180 countries and the new design makes it easier to map routes and draw out better building plans. Like Microsoft is rolling out its Metro UI to all its products, so is Google rolling out its design to all its product. This is so users can adapt easily across its different apps without problems.
