In July Microsoft reversed it’s DRM policies for the Xbox One, dropping their 24-hour Internet check-in requirement and all restrictions on used games. Yesterday Microsoft’s Mark Whitten announced that the Xbox One console will no longer require the Xbox Kinect device to function. 343 Industries, the company that currently develops the Halo franchise, announced at the Microsoft’s Xbox event that it would be creating a Halo live-action TV series and it will be directed by the most famous film director in history, Steven Spielberg.
