Samsung Galaxy M Goes Official In Korea, Rest Of The World Soon

Here’s the latest sister in Samsung’s Galaxy family. The Galaxy M is 9.9 mm thin, with a 4-inch, 480 x 800 resolution Super AMOLED display. The device runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is powered by a 1650 mAh battery, 1GHz single core CPU and 4GB of internal storage(expandable to 32GB via microSD).

It includes a 3 megapixel rear camera capable of shooting video up to 720p, a front-facing VGA camera and Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP. It’s available in Platinum, Silver, Blue Black and Lavender Pink. The Galaxy M is currently available in Korea and should reach the rest of the world soon at about $500.

Samsung has clearly placed this to be one of the affordable high-end phones on its line. At least compared to the Galaxy SII.
