All Amber Partners With MEF For The 2012 Meffys

If you’ve been to any of the Mobile Africa events (Mobile Web East Africa and Mobile Web West Africa) you’ll know All Amber as the company that organises top-notch, mobile-focused conferences across sub-saharan Africa.

All Amber has announced its partnership with MEF and support for the Meffys this year. The Meffys are annual awards given to successful and innovative companies in mobile content and commerce across 13 categories. Entries for the Meffys close July 19th and All Amber will sponsor 10 African mobile start-ups to enter themselves for the awards.

MEF Executive Director, Rimma Perelmuter says “The exciting mobile innovations taking place in Africa are a perfect example of the mobile successes the Meffys recognises ad we are looking forward to working with All Amber to raise awareness in Sub-Saharan Africa.”

In order to expand its reach, MEF will be using All Amber’s events across africa as a platform. MEF’s members will be brought in to share knowledge, analytics and best practices to attendees of All Amber events.

Matthew Dawes, Managing Director of All Amber says “I believe that the innovations, products and services need to be recognised as being of an international standard and that’s why we’re happy to fund 10 Africa start-ups to enter the Meffys.”

MEF is a supporting organisation at Mobile Entertainment Africa 2012 which will hold in Cape Town, South Africa from August 29th to August 30th.
