Even More Exclusive: Rocket Internet To Open Online Clothing Store In Lagos

We’ve got news that Rocket Internet, one of Europe’s largest incubator companies, is opening an online fashion goods store in Nigeria.

The store will be called Sabunta and will allow users purchase designer branded goods online and have them delivered to a forwarding address. Sabunta’s website currently has a form accepting emails for it’s launch. It’s Facebook page is also live.

Rocket Internet was founded in Germany by the Samwer brothers and has a large portfolio of companies around the world. One of its companies, CityDeal was acquired by Groupon a while ago. Rocket Internet’s Alando was also purchased by eBay.

The company currently runs Zalado in Germany, Locondo in Japan, The Iconic in Australia and Zando in Zouth Africa.
