Rebecca Black Tops Google’s Zeitgeist 2011
It’s that time of the year again. Google has released its comprehensive list of top searches for the year – ‘Zeitgeist’. Topping all the search queries on Google this year is Rebecca Black. Casey Anthony and Steve Jobs also appear on the list. On the Global Consumer Electronic searches, Amazon’s Kindle fire tops the list with the iPhone 4S second and the Sidekick 4G third.
In Africa, Google split the searches into Egypt, Kenya and South Africa. Sorry Nigerians, there’s nothing for you this year. Each country is split further into 10 categories including Fastest Rising Searches, Fastest Rising People, Sports, News, Images and Celebrities.
