Play the PS Vita a Week Before Official Launch

We have confirmation from Sony that the Playstation Vita is set to launch on February 22, 2012. However, for you impatient die-hard gamers, it was announced on the PlayStation Blog that you can get the PS Vita a whole week earlier. Naturally, the catch is that you have to do some extra damage to your wallet.

If you’re willing to part with an extra $50, you can get the PlayStation Vita First Edition Bundle on February 15. In summation, the First Edition Bundle will cost $350 for the 3G + WiFi model; the bundle also includes a 4GB memory card, a limited edition case, and the Little Deviants game. The WiFi model will be $300 and includes all of the above (but what’s a portable game console without portable internet?).

Now I’m going to crush the hearts of non-North American gamers and mention that this offer is only available in North America, and for a limited time. Canadians only get the WiFi model, so no online gaming on the move for them. However my suggestion for North Americans is to troll eBay or such and search for it. That is only if you’re THAT desperate (don’t be that guy).
