In a recent study by London Science Museum, a number of 3,000 adults surveyed showed that Facebook ranked 5th out of 50 things they couldn’t live without. Facebook is in the top 5 with Sunshine, Internet Connection, clean drinking water and a Fridge.

The survey was conducted towards the museum’s latest exhibition – Water Wars: Fight The Food Crisis. The exhibition will showcase a need for fresh water to grow crops, along with new technologies to solve the problem. Other technologies like Email, iPads, laptops, Xboxes and Twitter make the top 50 list. Facebook also ranks ahead of a flushing toilet. Shocking!
