When you play your video games while school is still in session, what do your parents tell you? “Demolu, go and read your books! When you vacate you will have all the time in the world to play your games.” Something like that? Well vacation time is here so it’s time to show proper dedication to our video game careers. Please note: I am not encouraging antisocial behaviour, by all means go for parties, raves, get-togethers, lunches, dinners and so on and so forth. However, just in case you get bored of reality, here’s ten games to immerse yourself in during the holidays…

L.A. Noire (PS3, Xbox360)

InFamous 2 (PS3)

Red Faction Armageddon (Windows, PS3, Xbox360)

Portal 2 (Mac, Windows, PS3, Xbox360)

Killzone 3 (PS3)

Dead Space 2 (Windows, PS3, Xbox360)

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time (3Ds)

Duke Nukem Forever (Windows, PS3, Xbox360)

Assasin’s Creed: Brotherhood (Windows, PS3, Xbox360)

Pokemon Black and White (NDS)

And there you have it. I know what many of you are thinking, “I’m too old/cool/ashamed to be playing Pokemon in this day and age.” You need not make a fuss, there’s nine more to choose from. However if anyone has completed all nine of those titles, I dare say it may be time for that individual to rebuild his/her social life.

Is there any game you feel I left out? Do you not play video games during the holidays? Please leave any comments below.
