Here’s a parody video from OurOwnArea. It’s an animation of a phone dialogue between Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan and Facebook founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.
In the video, Goodluck Jonathan is browsing his Facebook page on a Mac, then he gets a notification of “32,000 curses” on his wall. He then receives a call from “That Facebook Boy” who asks him to delete his page and move to Friendster or Myspace because the curses are melting their servers.
Our President replies “But I like Facebook” which causes Zuck to go in an all round Yoruba rant against Goodluck Jonathan. I love how close the voices are to the actual characters.
Goodluck Jonathan is currently one of the most liked Presidents on Facebook with over 700,000 fans of his page. No, the President did not bring Facebook to Nigeria.
