Ubisoft Reveals Assassin’s Creed Unity

Rumors have been about town concerning an “Assassin’s Creed V” game. Only just now do we get to see what that game is. So feast your peepers on this.

Assassin’s Creed Unity will be set in 18th Century Paris and as you might have seen, it is slated for December 2014. The blockbuster franchise is for next-gen consoles and PC only. On the other hand there are rumours of an Assassin’s Creed game for Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 code-named Comet.

Ubisoft promises it’s all in-game footage while most critics would never believe anything a major gaming publisher says about footage, I’m inclined to believe them, specifically because of the weird texture popping that happens at 0:28. You’ll have to watch closely because it’s easy to miss. In addition there is some glitchy looking texture collision happening at 0:36 with a panel on the roof of the building, on the left side of the right-most chimney. Not to say the whole footage doesn’t look stunning, it’s just to show you that console renders usually make those kind of errors.

There are many rumours concerning Ubisoft and it’s Assassin’s Creed franchise. Ubisoft has said that it will release more and more screenshots, footage and information as the weeks go by. For the facts, keep it here at Technesstivity.
