Megaupload Shutdown: Anonymous Takes Down US Justice Department Site

We reported earlier that file sharing service Megaupload was shutdown by the FBI due to privacy violations. The alleged operators of the site have also been arrested and taken into custody. The hacking group known as Anonymous through its various twitter accounts has announced that the official website of the United States Justice Department has been taken down by them. UPDATE: Anonymous has also taken down the websites of the MPAA, RIAA and Universal Music. as well as those of the FBI, White House, Universal Music France, BMI Music and Warner Group.
