Lenovo Shows Off S2 Tablet Range At CES 2012

Lenovo has unveiled a new range of Tablets known as ‘S2′ at This year’s CES. The S2 starts at a Samsung Galaxy Note-like 5-inch, moves up to the 7-inch tablet and the 10-inch IdeaTab.

The Lenovo S2 5″ is a 5-inch phone-tablet hybrid. It comes in burnt orange and runs on a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The S2 5″ is currently only available in China.

Lenovo’s S2 7″ is an upgrade to the 5″ not only in size but in specs. It runs on a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The IdeaTab S2 10″ weighs 1.1 pounds and is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The IdeaTab S2 10 runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a skin of Lenovo’s Modrian UI. It also comes with a keyboard dock.

Lenovo says the battery of the S2 10 can last for 20 hours. Apps can be purchased via Android Market or Lenovo’s App Shop. The tablet is currently only available in China and Lenovo hopes to get it to other markets soon.
