This is going to be the 18th title in the Need For Speed series and potentially the most anticipated racing game to date. Need For Speed: The Run features a protagonist named Jack, who must participate in the usual illegal underground high speed racing with high stakes. This edition to the series introduces new challenges in the form of dangerous terrain; it’s no longer the usual swerving through urban traffic while avoiding the cops, now you have to avoid being obstructed by avalanches on a snowy mountain too. The Electronic Arts team have also promised an absorbing storyline which is a lot more than I can say for previous Need For Speed titles. Racing gamers don’t release your handbreak yet because the title is scheduled to be released on the 15th and 18th of November 2011 in North America and Europe respectively.
