Ghana’s Tigo Launches Country’s First Unlimited Mobile Data Plans

Ghana’s second largest cellular operator, Tigo has announced unlimited mobile internet plans in the country; the first of its kind . Mobile phone users can access the internet with rates starting at GHS 0.99 [$0.53] daily and maxing at GHS 22.99 for an entire month. Laptop and tablet users get daily plans at GHS 1.99 a day and GHS39.99 monthly

Tigo’s acting General Manager, Obafemi Banigbe says, with its unlimited internet plans, subscribers can read news, search the internet, stream music and videos without the need to bother about their data plans maxing out.
