Yes, Twitter has been advertising it’s new platform’s arrival for the past week and a half and all they’ve shown us have been screenshots and videos. Twitter CEO Ev Williams tweeted that the account selection for the new Twitter platform was “random and worldwide”.
As time went on, top Twitter users got to use it first, posting their reactions and making twitterholics around the world jealous. I, of course, was one of them until today that is. I finally got the invitation to switch to the new Twitter!
It’s not just your regular social networking site improvement. It is almost completely redesigned for improved accuracy. Here are a few of the screenshots from my personal Twitter account:
In case you didn’t notice some of the new features include drop down lists of usernames for easier tagging and on-the-page viewing so you don’t even have to leave the page to view images, videos or profiles.
The new Twitter will definitely take some getting used to, as do any other social networking site updates. But so far, I love it!
Drop a comment and tell me what you think about it or search #NewTwitter to see what people are saying.\
