Superhydrophobic Spray Makes Devices Waterproof Forever[VIDEO]

Here’s a problem iPhone users face. The inside of iPhones and a lot of other phones come with moisture indicators that turn pink as soon as the devices are exposed to moisture or dropped in water. For iPhone users, Apple uses these markers to deny warranty because the device has been dropped in moisture.

Enter: Never Wet

Never Wet is a superhydrophobic coating that resists moisture so devices never get wet when exposed to moisture. This might seem like a scam but it’s really not. The coating was developed by Ross Nanotechnology and not only does it keep devices waterproof for over a year at a time, it also prevents ice damage, corrosion and devices are less prone to picking harmful bacteria.

Ross Nanotechnology says Never Wet is at least a year away from commercial sales; It still remains amazing. In this video an iPhone 3G functions after being in water for over 30 minutes. Checkout the video and let us know what you think

Oh. It can work for any phone. An iPhone was used because iPhones have many moisture markers and iPhones will last only 30 seconds in water when unprotected
