SOPA: The Day The Internet Stood Still [INFOGRAPHIC]
On Jan. 18th, Millions of internet users and content creators rose against the proposed Stop Online Piracy Act [SOPA]. Large sites like Wikipedia and Reddit, joined the protest by blacking out the entire site as it would be if SOPA had passed. Other sites like Google, blacked out their logos while blog networks like the Cheezburger network and developer forums like xda-developers were out for the entire day.
