Skype For Windows Phone Now Available
Finally, the Windows Phone users can use Skype on the go. The official Skype app for Windows phone is now available at the Windows Phone Marketplace.
The beta version of the app was unveiled in February at the Mobile World Congress and has since had the usual bug fixes including some added features similar to those on other smartphones.
They include added support for 18 languages, portrait mode video calling, support for joining audio conference calls, call-in-progress notifications and the ability to add, block and unblock contacts.
You can use it if youre on a 4G, 3G and WiFi network and are running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango or above. To find out what version your Windows Phone is, simply go to Settings > About. The video below shows how the app works. It looks pretty good to me, what do you think?
