Alongside the Xperia U, Sony unveiled another smartphone in its Xperia NXT line the Xperia P.

The 4-inch Xperia P debuts Sonys WhiteMagic display for brightness powered by Mobile Bravia Engine. Its powered by a 1GH dual-core CPU and 16GB of internal storage. Also, the Xperia P sports an 8 megapixel camera with HD recording and Sony technology to capture 2D and 3D panoramic images. For connectivity Sony has included Wi-Fi, HDMI, DLNA and NFC.

It currently runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be upgraded to Android 4.0 when it ships in the second quarter of this year. The smartphone will be  available in silver, black and red colours.
