Skype Co-Founder Promises Free Internet Service With FreedomPop

Seems like Free Video calls aren’t enough for Skype’s Niklas Zennstrom. His new company FreedomPop promises Free mobile internet services for all on the premise that “The internet is a right, not a privilege…”. FreedomPop has signed a deal with LTE wholesaler LightSquared to provide the backbone for the service. The company says FreedomPop will launch next year when LightSquared network goes live. The service hopes to focus on markets needing wireless broadband before it rolls out to the rest of the US.

Yes! Let’s do free everything! Free calls, free texts, free internet. Let’s do free food, clothes and shoes too. So I know it’s real.
