Samsung’s Galaxy Note Is A Smartphone & Tablet [VIDEOS]
At this year’s IFA trade show, Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Note. It’s 5.3-inches, 9.65mm thin and 0.39 pounds heavy. The device can double as a phone and a tablet with its S Pen for drawing and note-taking for our old school folks.
On the inside, it runs on Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread), with a 1.4GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage and WXGA Super Amoled display. The device touts 2 cameras. A rear 8-megapixel camera and a front 2-megapixel camera for video calls.
Samsung will release two versions of the device: one supporting HSPA+ networks and the other supporting LTE networks. They haven’t announced a release date and price yet. Samsung says it’ll be released “in the coming months”.
