South African Music Streaming Service, Simfy Africa To Launch Soon

In about two weeks, music lovers in South Africa will have get to listen to all their favourite local and international artists via a music streaming service.

Simfy Africa said in a statement:

“Simfy Africa is a partnership between the European streaming provider, simfy, and local digital content company eXactmobile. The service therefore brings together superb backend technology and general streaming know how from simfy on top of over a decade’s worth of in-depth experience from eXactmobile of dealing with digital content, local infrastructure and customer support on the ground in South Africa”

Simfy will start up with a library of more than 18 million songs and users can access all the content from their computers as well as up to three mobile devices including a tablet and it will be available for all major mobile operating systems.

Simfy Africa boasts features like the ability to create playlists and a favourites list, offline listening mode and more.

Unfortunately Simfy will not work in Nigeria and will only work in South Africa, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium but for users in the listed countries, the site is open for pre-registration which would allow you to enjoy a 14 day free trial once the platform is live.
