Make Your Smartphone Waterproof With Liquipel

Trying to make your smartphone waterproof the old way has some downsides to it. The majority of water-resistant cases add bulk to your device, are downright ugly and may not allow you access components like the earphone jack or charging port.

At this year’s CES, a company called Liquipel came up with a revolutionary solution. It involves a nano-sized coating technology which binds itself to all the components of the device to make it water resistant without altering its shape, mass or functionality. This is great for those who always dreamt of tweeting in the shower! Check them out here and these videos of Liquipel in use. The list of featured devices include the iPhone, Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Motorola Droid X/X2 among others.
