Opera Software has unveiled a new version of its Opera browsers for mobile. Opera Mini will largely remain the same in terms of browsing experience and its ability to compress data. Opera Next for phones and tablet features a whole new start page. Once the app is opened, you’ll see the latest updates from your friends and contacts right on that page. You’ll also find breaking news, weather forecasts, sports and entertainment. Opera Next learns what you like and will over time, show you content you want based on previous reads.
Do you have a lot of favourite sites? Opera Next’s speed dial is unlimited. You can instantly add websites to your speed dial with a click. It is currently available on Beta for Opera Mini and Opera Mobile and might produce some bugs. Installing it however won’t affect your already installed Opera Mini. This installs distinctly with a white ‘O’ as its logo.
