I am so sure that as the speculations about FIFA 12 arose, many gamers would have predicted or anticipated news about Pro Evolution Soccer 2012. PES is FIFA’s biggest rival in the soccer game industry so you can always expect Konami, the developers of PES, to stay on their toes and remain competitive; and yes this means the prolonged argument of “FIFA vs PES” will continue. Many of you committed soccer gamers know how this argument starts; you mercilessly destroy (four-nil or more) a friend in one of the titles, and they claim they’re better in the other. Maybe the new features of PES 2012 will sway some FIFA supporters.
The main focus of PES 2012 is to accomplish Real Football Simulation. The Creative Producer of the Pro Evolution Soccer series, Shingo ‘Seabass’ Takatsuka explained, “For me, the ultimate aim in the ongoing PES series is to match what people see when they go to a match or watch a big game on TV with what they experience on their console.” So we should be seeing much more realistic teamplay during gameplay. I’m personally excited about this feature as I get frustrated when my players are standing around enjoying the scenery while they could be making goal-scoring runs.
Players can also look forward to a more enhanced defensive play, this means you have to work harder to open up the opposition’s defence and so you can be more proud when you score goals.
